A BIG thank you and congratulations to all those who participated in yesterday’s Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® hosted by Mount St. Mary’s University. Approximately 77 individuals participated yesterday with about 50 of them being men! A grand total of $959.55 was raised and will be donated to Survivors, Inc., a local rape crisis center and domestic violence shelter in Gettysburg, PA. Also special congratulations to Maria Sykes and the Hispanic Cultural Association, the individual student and the student organization that raised the most money in pledges. Maria donated a whopping $125 and the Hispanic Cultural Association raised $170. Other organizations on campus that raised a significant amount of money were the Men’s Lacrosse Team, SGA, Pangborn Hall Team and the Men’s Rugby Team. GREAT JOB!
