To provide support for those who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault, Quick Responders will respond to a police request to provide crisis intervention at the police station or some neutral place. Responders cannot come to the home or site where the abuse took place. Responding Advocates:- Spanish speaking Advocates are available- Will not translate for abuser - Will work with victim - Will transport victim to shelter or hospital if victim wishes it If a police officer deems it necessary for a victim of Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault to have immediate crisis intervention and accelerated access to Survivors' services a Quick Response Advocate may be called directly. The mobile number can be acquired through Adams County Control.
