Injuries may be more serious than they seem and having a record can help if you decide to press charges. Long-range planning · Research agencies, programs or shelters - that offer services to battered women · Join a support group · Get counseling · Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233 - to find out what resources are available in your area.
